This is a post I started writing almost 5 years ago. Haven’t been able to simply delete it, so I’ve updated and added some details.

Before giving birth to our first daughter, I had to deal with some rather horrifying birth stories. Surprisingly, it wasn’t necessarily family or friends who wanted to share their story, but sometimes strangers or people I hardly knew.
Last week Matt and I attended the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada’s national conference on TS+. We had a great time and gained lots of knowledge, bought some helpful books, and made some knew friends.
While we were there, Missy Moo stayed with her grandparents who are in Barrie. Nana M and Grandpa were thrilled to have her for a three-day sleepover. Three whole days with her on their own without Mommy and Daddy around. They were pretty excited about it and it gave us a chance to really dive into the conference and even get a couple nights of uninterrupted sleep!
Based on the title of this post, you’re probably expecting me to finally talk about poop. I mean really, as a new mom, it was only a matter of time right? You’d be surprised how often the topic of your child’s number two comes up in a daily conversation with your significant other or your own mother.
Those of you who are completely grossed out raise your hand!
Well good news! That’s not the focus of this post at all!
I again will postpone the post that was for last week because it’s not that urgent and I have something more amusing to share.
It seems we may have a future wrestler in our house. She’s hilarious…
I guess we should be relieved to hear that wrestling has regained Olympic status. Matt has joked that we may have a future Olympian in our house. Although she’s getting pretty tall… would that be a disadvantage?

I originally had a completely different post in mind for today. It’s not fully written and is in fact in a notebook of mine. But life happens in the form of mommy duties and family emergencies… so I’ll save the other topic for another day.
I’ve mentioned to a few friends and family and Missy Moo has started sleeping on her side and also her stomach. This child is definitely keeping me on my toes though because when she sleeps with her face almost completely down, I’m constantly checking to make sure she’s still breathing!!
