Today is Father’s Day and for Matt<\/a>, it’s his first Father’s Day!<\/p>\n

While it feels so natural to be a parent, I still have those moments of, “H<\/em>oly crap! We had\u00a0 baby! We’re parents!”<\/em><\/p>\n

Matt is an amazing dad and Missy Moo is very lucky to have him. I know from experience how awesome it is to have a great dad. As I mentioned on Mother’s Day<\/a>, my mom and I are very close. I’m also very close to my dad. Not only is he my dad, but he’s also an important friend, a confidant, a role model, some to discuss career decisions and choices, my handy-man adviser, a personal MacGyver<\/a>, and often a partner in crime when it comes to being silly.<\/p>\n

So thanks for being awesome Dad! I know that someday my<\/strong> daughter will be saying the same thing to her <\/strong>father (and telling her poppy he’s awesome too of course).<\/p>\n
