Well, the holidays are upon us. It seems like as soon as Remembrance Day has passed, the next holiday (primarily Christmas where I live) tends to dominate all retail locations, television commercials and soon Christmas songs will flood the radio stations.
Not everyone sends out Christmas cards, but it’s a tradition that I still really enjoy. Since our wedding six years ago, I’ve basically kept a list that’s updated from time-to-time and modified with additions and deletions.
This year, we of course want a photo of Missy Moo to send out. Being on the ball, I recently contacted our friend Sally LeDrew to see if she could take some photos for us. I’m usually pretty good with our Christmas cards and have managed to get them out (and almost every year before Dec. 25th!).
It’s funny, I’m very organized when it comes to little miss whether we’re going out for a few hours or if she’s having a sleepover at Nana and Poppy’s… yet my house will probably always been cluttered and far from spotless.
So back to the photos. Missy Moo, my mother and I met Sally at a location where she has some studio space and we had a little photo shoot. It was lots of fun and Mom and I were exhausted by the end of it because we were jumping around, laughing loudly and doing whatever we could to get little miss to smile and laugh.
If you’re interested in having some photos taken, whether they be holiday photos, family photos, or anything at all, I strongly encourage you to contact Sally LeDrew. Sally was our wedding photographer six years ago. She was recommended to us by my cousin who had worked with her through a business contract. We met her and instantly clicked. She was fabulous at our wedding (and we were one of her first weddings too!) and we’ve stayed in touch since.
So check out Sally’s website and also her Facebook page!
And her are a few more photos from our photo shoot. Enjoy!
She is so sweet <3 Love the one of you and her
Thanks lady! I like that it’s fairly candid despite the fact that we were trying to get little miss to pose.
