Today is Father’s Day and for Matt, it’s his first Father’s Day!

While it feels so natural to be a parent, I still have those moments of, “Holy crap! We had baby! We’re parents!”
Matt is an amazing dad and Missy Moo is very lucky to have him. I know from experience how awesome it is to have a great dad. As I mentioned on Mother’s Day, my mom and I are very close. I’m also very close to my dad. Not only is he my dad, but he’s also an important friend, a confidant, a role model, some to discuss career decisions and choices, my handy-man adviser, a personal MacGyver, and often a partner in crime when it comes to being silly.

So thanks for being awesome Dad! I know that someday my daughter will be saying the same thing to her father (and telling her poppy he’s awesome too of course).
Missy Moo would like to wish her daddy, poppy, grandpa and uncles Keith and Colin and all the other dads, grandfathers and uncles out there a very special day!

For what it’s worth, those “holy crap! We made life and are now responsible for it!” moments do get fewer, but the wonder of it all never seems to go away. :)
